After your session is booked, I will get to know more about you, your family and what kind of images you hope to get through a portrait questionnaire and our conversations. I will guide you on location choices, outfit selections and ease your concerns that your kids may not cooperate. Regardless of how our session is going, don't worry, I promise we will figure it out – I have kids too and completely understand! I will keep things moving along and make the session enjoyable for everyone.

Picture Day
Show up with your family looking cute and let me take the reins! I will guide you and your family to get those genuine smiles and laughs (even if it takes some corny jokes, comedic noises or silly poses). In a few weeks, you will end up with a gallery of images that, years down the road, you will cherish and remember your family as they were today. You will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of prints through your individual gallery.

The Family Experience
My goal is to make our time together as stress-free and enjoyable as possible and to document your story in a way that feels truthful to you. Emotion means everything to me. My approach as your Connecticut Family Photographer is to create a natural experience for you to connect with each other, relax, laugh and have fun.
We will get a good mixture of posed family shots and lifestyle images of your family as they are, all in my natural, bold, true-to-color enhanced style. If needed, I will gently guide and facilitate your photo session in an unobtrusive manner. I will see to it that no photo seems overly posed!
